Model Predictive Control of Two-Phase Flows

Michael Hinze* and Christian Kahle

We present a mpc concept for two-phase flows with variable densities governed by a Cahn-Hilliard Navier-Stokes model with double obstacle potential. We consider wall parallel Dirichlet boundary control of the flow part to achieve a prescribed concentration field. We present a recipe how to construct the underlying controller and how to achieve his stabilizing properties.
