Application of Fractional Order Transfer Functions to Modeling of High-Order Systems

In the presentation a modeling of high – order dynamic systems with the use of fractional – order transfer function is going to be presented. To describe the fractional – order model in MATLAB Charef’s and Oustaloup’s approximations will be applied. As an example of system the heat plant will be considered. The presented models will be optimized with respect to cost function describing both numerical complexity and accuracy.
